  12. the release of MiBAC™ Jazz Improvisation Software for Macintosh family
  13. computers.  MiBAC™ Jazz Improvisation Software turns your Mac into a jazz band.
  14. If you play jazz, or ever wanted to play jazz, our program lets you use the
  15. Mac as your own jazz band.  Once you’ve set the style, song form, key, tempo,
  16. and typed the chords, MiBAC sends piano, bass and drum MIDI data to your MIDI
  17. synthesizers.  In seconds you can be playing any song you want with a three
  18. piece band that really swings. You can now practice, compose, and arrange
  19. songs with a jazz band that is ready to play whenever you are. MiBAC Jazz
  20. Improvisation Software represents three years of research and development,
  21. and brings jazz study into the age of MIDI technology.

  34. MiBAC songs can be written and played in four jazz styles: Jazz 4/4, Latin,
  35. Slow 4, and Jazz 3/4.  Styles can be combined within a song.  The song form can
  36. be up to 128 measures long with an Introduction, Coda, and repeating Chorus.
  37. The total song length can be 480 measures or greater, depending on the total
  38. RAM memory available.  Songs can be looped so they will play as long as the
  39. user wants.  The MiBAC screen display closely resembles standard sheet music,
  40. so musicians feel at home the first time they use the program.  Because all of
  41. the musical ideas used in MiBAC were played by jazz musicians, MiBAC creates
  42. the spontaneity of a live performance.  MiBAC's extensive library of musical
  43. ideas insure that every repeating chorus will sound unique.  MiBAC songs can be
  44. saved as Standard MIDI files, which can be read by other sequencer and notation
  45. programs.
